  • Our History

    Once upon a time, a long time ago there was a young lady that enrolled to train as a Beauty Therapist (circa 1981).  She was so excited, she knew it was what she wanted to do and she couldn’t wait to get her qualification, to get out into the world to help people with their skin.

     ⁃

    That young lady was me…. But unfortunately, way back then there was little focus on skin and treating skin conditions, the
    focus was mainly on waxing, lashes, and brows.  After practising as a Beauty Therapist for a few years I became quite disillusioned, this wasn’t my dream. This was a changing point in my career, realizing that the big Multi-National Companies were the movers and shakers in skin and skin products back then.

    With that in mind, I decided to take a career detour which saw me work for some of the most incredible international brands such as: Estee Lauder, L’Oreal and YSL my roles with these companies were in Sales and Education,
    developing training programs for the front-line representatives ensuring the end consumer got the very best products recommended to them.

    I then was fortunate to join one of the biggest NZ Luxury Brand Distributors representing brands such as Bvlgari, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Hugo Boss to name a few travelling the world and learning everything I could from these iconic luxury brands.

    My calling for All Things Skin has always been my driver, and although the glamour of the luxury world was fun, I wanted to work with a professional skin brand.

    I was fortunate to be asked to launch a very well-known Australian Corrective Skincare
    Brand in the New Zealand Market. I worked with this brand for over 7 years and helped
    to developed it into one of the most recognized brands in NZ.

  • So... Fast Forward

    So fast forward some 33 years from the young lady that trained as a Beauty
    Therapist…

    ISKIN - All Things Skin was born.

    ⁃

    I realized that I have so much knowledge and experience to offer those who
    are truly overwhelmed with the noise, have tried so many treatments and
    products only to be disillusioned.

    ⁃

    At ISKIN, I speak from the heart, if you don’t need it then I tell you. But, if you do then I WILL tell you but I will give you WHY and don’t make empty promises just reallytruthful advice.
